Mezemiso Restaurant & Bar

Identity design for Lebanese and Japanese fusion restaurant in central London.

Brief

Mezemiso is a glamorous Thames-side restaurant and sky terrace situated on top of the Crowne Plaza Albert Embankment Hotel. It’s focus on food fuses together both Lebanese and Japanese cuisines.

Solution

The logo combines both an Arabic style calligraphy with a modern sans serif font. The ‘Meze’ part of the logo was created using a special calligraphy pen before inputting it to the computer to create the graphics. The two small square dots which are in the Arabic alphabet became the basis of the further brand graphic pattern.

Results

Mezemiso and Crowne Plaza staff now have an elegant yet contemporary brand to compliment their restaurant with simple brand guidelines to adhere to when creating further successful communications.
